Does counterculture still exist today?
To what extent has counterculture developed since the 1960s? How/to what extent has it been limited?
Hypothesis:
Counterculture has developed to the point of which America's youth feels that it's practically necessary. It's not as it was during the Boston Tea Party or the 1970s but it has demanded the attention of the media and the government. Individuals today are generally unsatisfied with the government's laws and policies as well as the traditional ideals of society.
Includes: - (1960s-1970s) difference of opinions on racial segregation, civil rights, women's rights, gay rights, the Vietnam War, opposition to nuclear weaponry, HIPPIES, psychedelic drugs (LSD), entertainment
